Experience
Andrea is currently pursuing direct-hire freelance interpreting in the Washington, DC Metro area and beyond in any of the settings listed above. Her current work is as a direct contractor with the bulk of her assignments in the legal arena.
Andrea has been providing professional ASL interpreting services since 2000; she began her interpreting career in the Pacific Northwest and has previously worked for referral agencies. She is currently located in the greater Washington D.C. area and is available for travel.
Andrea began teaching in a professional development setting in 2005 when she presented the “Taxes, Money, and Bills – Oh, My!” workshop at the Virginia Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf Annual Conference.
